Fun in Nevada...Missouri that is.

Ronnie and the girls went to Nevada over the weekend to visit Grandma Rhonda and Pepa. I had to work on Friday and had a friend's birthday party dinner to go to Saturday night, so I couldn't go but it seems like they had a really good time. Here are some pictures Rhonda sent us!

Ronnie and the girls went swimming with Grandma Rhonda on Saturday. They got some great pictures of the girls in the swimming pool. Ronnie taught Ashlyn how to float and tread water without her vest! Ashlyn swam across the pool BY HERSELF while Ronnie was nearby. I couldn't believe it when they told me, but here are the pictures to prove it. Whenever Ashlyn got tired of swimming Ronnie told her to flip over and float and she did! By next year she should be a pro.

Tuesday night we took some pictures of the girls out on the deck. My mom decided to have some fun with her glasses. Breckyn quickly grabbed the glasses off every time I put them on her, but we got a couple of her. Ashlyn was doing her silly poses. I think the pictures turned out cute and some are really funny. Enjoy!

ROARING River

Hello all! Sorry it's been a few weeks since I've posted some pictures...I have no excuse really! Last week we went on our annual Roaring River trip (near Cassville, Mo) with Ronnie's parents and sister's family. We had fun like always and I took a few pictures. Ronnie's mom and sister took more, and I'm hoping they send some my way (hint, hint :) ) so I can post them on my blog. We stayed Monday through Thursday, and I know the girls had a blast. On Monday we went swimming at a water park nearby while the guys went trout fishing. Tuesday we went to Silver Dollar City for the day and man it was hot!! Ashlyn wouldn't ride very many rides but I think she had fun. Breckyn was such a trooper hanging out in her stroller in the heat. Tuesday night I had to leave because I had to work the next day and Ronnie and the kids stayed one more day/night. They got to go swimming some more and had a big ol' fish fry in the evening. 4th of July Weekend

For the 4th of July weekend we ventured over to Ronnie's parents house on Saturday to spend the day swimming, grilling, and shooting off fireworks. Ronnie's sister, Kim, and her family were there as well to spend the weekend. We had a great time and Ashlyn definitely enjoyed herself. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Ready for the Bentonville 4th of July fireworks display. We drove to Bentonville Sunday night to watch the fireworks and the kids stayed up VERY late!
