Here's some pictures I had on my camera from August.

We went to this place called "Fast Lanes" when my mom and nephew, Taylor, were here. Breckyn rode the carousel.




We went to the Benton County Fair last weekend during the middle of the day, which was a complete mistake (100+ degrees and no shade). We didn't stay to long because the heat was too much to handle, but we got to ride a few rides and see the animal barn.

First Day of School

Ashlyn's first day of 1st grade was this Monday. She was both nervous and excited about going and it turns out she had a really good day. Today she said was even better than yesterday, so I'm glad she is adjusting well to her new school year and teacher. I snapped a few pictures Monday morning before we left for school. We are both not use to waking up so early, but we are managing.

Believe it or not, Ashlyn wore a sweater over her tank top to school on Monday.

Breckyn found a pair of Ashlyn's clean panties in the laundry and decided to try them on for size! She ended up putting them on her head! Ashlyn was embarrassed but agreed to let me put the pictures on the blog :)

Roaring River Weekend

Last weekend we went to Roaring River in Cassville, MO to spend time with Grandma Rhonda and Pepa, Uncle Mark, Aunt Kim and cousins, Zacharey and Phoebe. We arrived on Thursday and the kids did some trout fishing while we waited to check into our rental house. We finally got checked in and then went swimming in the pool next to the house. We all enjoyed the cool water as it was HOT outside! The next day Ronnie, I, Ashlyn, Uncle Mark, Aunt Kim, and Zach went to Silver Dollar City for the day. We had lots of fun riding all of the rides and cooling off on the water rides. Grandma Rhonda, Pepa, Breckyn and Phoebe went to the Butterfly Palace in Branson while we were at Silver Dollar City. They looked like they had a good time as well. We then met to eat and left to go back home. It was definitely a good day. On Saturday we went to the water slide in Cassville and the kids had a fun time. We then relaxed at the house and had a fish fry from all the trout the guys caught. On Sunday we left to go home. We all enjoyed our time together and the kids definitely had fun playing together. Thanks Grandma Rhonda and Pepa for the fun trip!
