Our Snow Day

On Tuesday both Ashlyn and I had a snow day from school, so we got to stay home with daddy and Breckyn. Ashlyn and daddy went sledding down our back yard with the new sled grandpa Steve and Mimi bought us for Christmas, while Breckyn and I watched. I plopped Breckyn down in the snow for what was suppose to be just a minute but when I tried to pick her up she started crying. She really liked the snow! Here's some pictures of our day.

Ashlyn was all bundled up and thought she looked silly. She said, "People will see me!" Well, atleast she was warm.




By the way, Breckyn is wearing Ashlyn's slipper boots over her pants because her boots wouldn't fit. That's why her feet look gigantic!

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day 2010

On Christmas Eve grandma Becky, grandpa Larry, and Taylor came over to spend some time with our family. We enjoyed their company as we ate a nice dinner together and watched Ashlyn make cookies with grandma.

Christmas morning. The girls got up around 7 a.m. ready to open presents. Here Ashlyn is passing out presents and all of us opening the presents. Later in the morning Pepa and grandma Rhonda joined us for lunch. We had such a great day!

Ashlyn with her new painting easel. We wrote Merry Christmas on it before she saw it. She's already painted lots of pictures! She's our little artist. We're working on just being able to paint without thinking, she's always worried about thinking of something to paint.
